Worm Drive Hoists – The Great Efficiency Enhancer
There are a number of reasons why any San Diego installation would choose to include worm drive hoists as part of their daily, heavy-lift operations. A few distinct features of worm drive hoists include their ability to:
- easily turn the gear, but not allow the gear to turn the worm
- sustain long lifts without overheating and premature failure
- deliver faster lifting speeds without accumulating excessive heat
- offer high-speed reduction in minimal spaces
- deliver low maintenance due to fewer moving parts
- generate safe lifting without requiring controls or high-maintenance mechanisms
- self lock, making them ideal for hoisting and lifting applications
- offer minimal noise, low vibration, and excellent shock-absorption
Our in-house manufactured Aerosafe worm-drive hoists are available in manual as well as pneumatic–powered options. One thousand of our Aerosafe models are in use around the world. Our Aerosafe worm drive hoists are used for the installation and removal of engines and landing gear for a wide range of aircraft for Airbus, Boeing, and almost all major airlines, worldwide.
As a worm drive hoists manufacturer, we offer our Aerospace Oxygen Systems Service our Parts and Assembly Integration and our Chain Hoist and Hoist Systems Fabrication for our San Diego customers as well as those worldwide to help keep their installations running with predictable precision.
